A positive vibe and knowledgeable staff greet those who walk through the door at People’s Coffee, one of MOSAIC’s newest tenants.
The local coffee shop and restaurant opened in December 2023, offering customers seasonal drinks, a barista feature, and a wide selection of hot and iced espressos and batch coffees. It also offers teas, juices and smoothies, as well as grab-and-go items like juices, protein power snacks, oats, and yogurt parfaits.
Customers looking for something more substantial will find a signature all-day breakfast and a lunch menu featuring sandwiches, wraps and more.
Locally owned, People’s Coffee got its start in Durham in 2019, and its MOSAIC location features the same great coffee from award-winning Black & White Roasters in Wake Forest.
“We believe that Pittsboro has the right vibes and the right population and a great future,” says owner David Sadeghi.
“Our vision was to create a place … away from the negativity of life,” Sadeghi said. Another of Sadeghi’s goals was to create jobs for “young, creative food and beverage loving adults.”
People’s Coffee also offers catering and prides itself on doing “simple at its best.”
