Building Community
2022 was a HUGE year for community building at MOSAIC. We hosted 45 events, drawing over 6,000 guests. Our 2022 MOSAIC Event Series offered Friday Night Concerts + Movies, Wellness Wednesdays and Pop-Up Markets.
New Tenants + Residents
New tenants opened for business in 2022 including CMG Financial, Greek Kouzina, Harris & Company Insurance, Lux Nails, and Refuel.
The temporary location of 79°West Innovation Hub, a collaborative workspace offering coworking, private offices, and conference rooms, provided quality programming by UNC-CH’s Innovate Carolina. The 20,000 sq. ft. permanent home of 79°West opens this spring.
Residents of The Guild and Tessera at MOSAIC will soon call MOSAIC home. The Guild is now leasing, and Tessera condos are sold out!
We also worked with local Bee Master Jody Moore of Rocky River Bees to install three beehives on MOSAIC’s campus.
Completed + Under Construction
- Installed a covered stage on the Philip H. Kohl MOSAIC Family Commons
- Started construction on Hampton Inn & Suites
- Broke ground on a medical office building, which will house Triangle Family Dentistry and Carolina Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry
- Commenced construction on Lowes Foods and a retail building at Northwood Landing, the 92-acre shopping center adjacent to MOSAIC
