Vineyards neighborhood is nearing completion, and Encore at Chatham Park by David Weekley Homes, a 55+ active adult community, will soon open a 55,000 sq. ft. clubhouse for residents. Since September 2024, 553 homes were sold and 207 leased in Chatham Park, for a total of 760 residences.
A modern multi-story town home community is under development at the corner of Grant Dr and Freedom Pkwy, with sales starting in 2025. Construction will soon begin on 338 affordable workforce apartments at the intersection of Chatham Park Way and East Street. Storyliving by Disney™ announced Asteria™, with home sales anticipated by 2027.
Chatham Park’s Commerce Center off Eubanks Road is under development, with Phase I, a 60,000 sq. ft. light industrial space, completed and ready for tenants. UNC Health acquired a 43-acre plot for a new medical campus across from the Vineyards in the Innovation District.
The community’s extensive network of sidewalks and multi-modal greenways connects residents to amenities, like Knight Farm Community Park and Paddles Swim & Pickleball Club.
At NoVi, the newest neighborhood in North Village, infrastructure is being laid for new homes, commercial spaces and parks, including the Chatham Park YMCA, scheduled to open Spring 2025. Nearby, a four-field soccer complex is in the planning stages.
