MOSAIC extends a big thank you to all community members who made the MOSAIC Comes Alive! concert series a huge success. We were excited to offer over 1200 visitors a preview of the type of community-building events that MOSAIC will continue to host.
Musicians + Makers
For the first weekend, Liquid Pleasure + Yankee South entertained guests while The Makrs Society offered a pop-up market for local artisans to sell their wares. Weather modified our plans for the second weekend, but the series came back strong for our final celebration.
Siler-City favorites Chatham Rabbits with opener Shay Martin Lovette helped us dedicate the Tommy Edwards Stage. Developer Kirk Bradley led the ceremony with Tommy’s wife Cindy Edwards and other family members. Saturday included music by the Carolina Bluegrass Band and another eclectic Makers Market.
Community Support
Thank you to the Pittsboro Boys & Girls Club for co-sponsoring the event, and the Northwood Athletic Department for their volunteer support, and all the local musicians, artisans, food trucks and beverage providers who made our first on-site event so successful.
We also thank the community of Pittsboro, Chatham County and its neighbors for joining us as MOSAIC comes alive. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
