As the general contractor behind MOSAIC at Chatham Park, Sanford Contractors, Inc. (SCI) has been a cornerstone of the Chatham Park community from its beginnings. The company’s Site Division began work on Phase 1 of MOSAIC in 2019, helping shape the infrastructure of one of the first mixed-use developments of its kind in Chatham County. Today, SCI’s Commercial Building Division calls MOSAIC home.
Open since 2021, SCI’s second location on MOSAIC’s campus brings its mission of “building with trust” to a continuously evolving ecosystem of retail, dining and lodging.
For SCI’s Marketing Communications Coordinator Anna Kelly, watching MOSAIC grow from the perspective of both a builder and a resident has been especially meaningful. “The guys love being out there in the community,” Kelly shares. “It’s so nice to be able to step out for coffee and lunch and participate in the events series.”
Looking ahead, SCI is preparing to begin construction on a new retail building, followed by a third phase of development that is anticipated to start in the fall of 2027.
As the community continues to grow, Sanford Contractors, Inc. remains proud to keep developing what has become not just a project, but a place where people live, work and gather.
