The Chatham Park community becomes more walkable! Though the full one-mile walking and biking trail is still under development, sections of the MOSAIC Greenway, which encircles the campus, are ready for community use during daylight hours.
As milder temperatures set in, guests and residents alike can enjoy fresh air, exercise and dog walks against a backdrop blending nature and community. The greenway also offers easy access to surrounding family-friendly green spaces, including connection to Wade Barber Park at Northwood Landing.
Once completed, the MOSAIC Greenway will connect to Chatham Park’s walking and biking paths, eventually 30+ miles’ worth, bridging a network of neighborhoods, parks and natural areas. These trails make it easy to find enjoyable ways to stay active this fall.
Future connectivity will also link to nearby Jordan Lake State Recreation Area and the Lower Haw River State Natural Area, offering a gateway to hikes, campsites, and kayak and canoe accesses.
Stay tuned for updates on ongoing greenway construction. For now, lace up your sneakers and experience a tranquil view of the growing MOSAIC community.
