Welcome to the 79°West Monthly Breakfast Club – our laid-back take on the predictable morning networking event happening every month. Enjoy live acoustic music, a full breakfast, and free coworking until 5pm.
In June, we’re featuring Bruce Ham, President and CEO of the YMCA of the Triangle. Bruce’s journey with the Y began in 1985 with a part-time job driving a youth program bus. Over the decades, he has served in a wide range of leadership roles in branch operations, program development and philanthropy, each deepening his commitment to the Y’s mission and expanding his impact across the region.
Appointed CEO in January 2023, Bruce now oversees a dynamic association of 22 branches and camps that reaches nearly a quarter-million people each year and employs more than 6,000 staff annually. In this role, he is shaping the Y’s long-term vision while responding to the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
